Senator Yayi Should Establish A Tertiary Institution In Imeko Afon - Oba Olorode
Oke-Agbede number one man, His Royal Majesty Oba Olorode Adewale, has enjoined the senator representing Ogun West senatorial district to establish a tertiary institution in the local government. Speaking during a press interview in his Oke Agbede palace, Oba Adewale stated that indigenes of the community travel several kilometres before they could have access to tertiary education a development that is costly and unpleasant.
Oba Adewale explains that since the creation of Ogun State in 1976 several personalities have represented Ogun West in the senate but Senator Adeola Solomon is the only senator that brought democracy dividend to the doorsteps of the people.
He hinted that the Senator constructed the access road to his community and also took a step further to build a functional solar-powered health care center in his locality. Alagbede said the only thing that is left for the progressive senator to do in Imeko Afon Local Government Area is to establish a tertiary institution so that indigenes of the area will have access to tertiary education.
The monarch also spoke on his efforts toward ensuring grassroots development, stating that a lot of initiatives were put in place to position his domain on the world map and this includes grading of inner roads. He added that indigenes of that community were urged to attract development to their fatherland as government cannot do it all.
Alagbede said several hectares of land will be made available for the establishment of a tertiary institution among other mechanized farming companies, food processing factories among others. He said he is very confident that Senator Solomon Adeola will emerge as the governor of the state and he will not disappoint the electorate.
